Jenny Richardson

I started at Welland when i was 3 years old doing ballet classes every Tuesday, then at 7 I joined tap and modern classes.

I couldn’t have asked for a better growing up experience than what I had at Welland, from the lifelong friends that I've made, to the teachers that have taught me not only how to dance but so many life lessons too. The years growing up here have shaped me into the person I am today, given me confidence and allowed me to be myself, no matter who that could have been. All the students and staff at Welland are the most genuine, kind and loving people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I am happy and proud to have been a student and at times a teacher here. To anyone reading this who has the dream of being a dancer, I’m here to say; never give up on that dream. There will be bumps along the journey and people who tell you that its impossible, but you have to stick to what you believe in and prove all those people wrong. You can do it, you are good enough. Never give up and keep working until your dream becomes your reality.
