LYB Auditions – Alice in Wonderland

If you missed the October and January auditions for Lincolnshire Youth Ballet then don't despair, they have got one final round of auditions on Sunday 19th May. Auditions are open to any student age 8 and up of Grade 1 ballet standard. Successful students will be invited to form a youth ballet company and rehearse for three weeks from 20th July -10th August, culminating in two performances of Alice in Wonderland. Lincolnshire Youth Ballet is run by Miss Purr and Miss Henri, this is their fourth year and so far the company has received fantastic reviews from it's productions which are held at the Stamford Corn Exchange theatre. LYB uses professional ballet dancers for the Principal roles, so that the students get an authentic experience of what it's like to be part of a professional ballet company, with daily ballet class and full days of rehearsals. The students certainly sleep well over those three weeks!
