Welland School of Dancing offers modern theatre lessons available for all levels and ages, teaching the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus for modern theatre.
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus offers an internationally recognised portfolio of examinations and assessments designed to encourage, motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities, outlining a progressive structure for learning and achievement in dance. At Welland School of Dancing students can start as young as 3-4 years old and move into six Graded and two Vocational Graded levels. Students can move from Graded Examinations to Vocational Graded Examinations at an appropriate time; or they can study both pathways simultaneously. The Dance School offers classes in the full range of ISTD Examinations and many students study syllabus work alongside other styles of dance.
Apart from ISTD modern theatre syllabus classes we offer ISTD tap classes and adult jazz and tap classes.
All our ISTD modern theatre classes are listed on the right hand side starting from mini grooves to advance modern theatre. Miss Purr teaches during the week therefore the best time to contact her is on Mondays 4-6pm, Wednesdays 12-2pm and Fridays 11-1pm.
